Welcome To Marsha's Angels!

My angel photography is accomplished using various light and color techniques in order to give the bare statues a sense of presence, as well as a more itherial look. When my very first exhibit went into the Cloister Gallery at Christ Church Cathedral (Houston's oldest church and one of its most prestigious galleries), I knew I was doing the right thing. In My Gallery and Kinderspirits are a few of my angel prints which I will change often.

I am very blessed to have my art in many religious institutions and homes of collectors both here in the U.S. as well as other countries. Upon presenting my angels at the very popular and well known Nueva Posada in Ajijic, Jalisco, Mexico, supported by my childhood and best friend Judy King, a whole new world opened up for me spiritually. Sharing my angels has been my life's passion since I first started photographing them in 1981. While working at NASA's Johnson Space Center as media producer for the first four Space Shuttle missions, the idea came to me in a very personal way. Since that time, I have been very fortunate to be able to share them in galleries, workshops and presentations. Please see Exhibits.

I was raised with a very patriarchal background both in my church and other areas of my early life, so the introduction of angels came not only as a surprise, but became a way of life that took on meaning in many areas, both spiritual and physical. Angels came to me during one of my life's challanges and have remained since that time. You can read about it in My Testimony.

I have designed a series of Sympathy Cards, as well as greeting cards designed for Seminary, Graduation, and Confirmation cards using photography from my travels, as well as my photos of statues of Jesus. They all contain scripture which have brought me comfort through the years and which I will share in a whole page I have titled Comforting Scripture.

Each of my angel prints has a catalog number, four sizes and come to you matted or unmatted, and even framed if you wish, of course without the "Kracht" watermark. Isn't it interesting that even though the Bible does not state that we each have a guardian angel, we all speak of ours? Although I have read many of the hundreds of books about angels, I have relied solely on scripture from the Holy Bible, as well as the writings of Billy Graham.
